Language Exchange Program
The Beauty of Making New Friends
One of the many activities offered at Yonsei University is the Language Exchange Program. It honestly has been one of my favorite programs so far. You get paired up through the Yonsei Say Program after filling-out a Google form. Where you write down the languages you are interested in learning and the ones you speak, and they then match you up with a buddy. My buddy and I have hung out twice so far, and it has been amazing. The first few minutes can be awkward, but after a while conversations flow. I've been able to experience new foods and go to different areas in Seoul that I wouldn't think to go to. Today my partner and I went to a restaurant that her family frequents, a cute cafe, and a perfume-making class. Although we spent more than usual we created fun memories together. It is a program I definitely recommend you joining !! Also, don't think you have to do activities like a perfume-making class everytime to have fun. Going to a cafe or park and getting to know each other is just as much fun.
