We started our trip with visits to a couple of wind farms near Tilarán, against the backdrop of the Arenal Volcano and Lake Arenal. We had a chance to tour other power plants as well, including hydropower, geothermal, and solar, and explore Rincón de la Vieja National Park, where geothermal activity bubbles up mud and steam in the middle of the forest.
