Internship A Responsibilities:
- Update information about the fund’s operations on daily and monthly basis using different sources (prime broker reports, portfolio accounting reports and other operational documents).
- Compile the funds’ monthly closing accounting summary from financial statements and audit reports.
- Assist the research team with data research gathering and top-down equity screening.
- Perform reconciliations in order to control offsite advisors and brokers, check the accuracy of external accounting and bookkeeping and the validity of certain trades and payments.
- Update, analyze and manage operational information in order to evaluate performance of the fund on a monthly basis
- Assist with various ad hoc projects (e.g. regulatory examinations, screening for “pump & dump” companies, etc.)
