Summer Korean Studies Seoul, South Korea
Hometown: New Castle, IN

Korea has been a dream destination for me for many many years. At least over 5 years. I thought it would be impossible to go to Seoul for anything let alone school. Leaving the country seemed out of the question but time is a magical thing. 5 years later and I have finally step foot in Seoul.

Summer 2019 truly has reshaped my life and added in personal growth. Coming to Korea brought me an opportunity to leave the U.S for the first time and truly have authentic moments of awe during each aspect of my journey in Korea. I have had many great chances to step out of my comfort zone, truly live in the moment, and do things that I typically wouldn't do at home.

Seoul is a busy city full of a never-ending list of things to do, places to see, and things to eat. You can NEVER go bored in Seoul. Seoul is busy and each moment you go out it is a fascinating escapade of new cultural perspectives and learning moments. Each of those moments gives personal reflection and growth to know how to adjust to a new culture and how to interact with it too.

I love Seoul so much and want to share as many fun moments and tips as much as possible to make a trip to Seoul as much fun and stress-free as possible!
