Hey everyone! My name is Syamala and this fall semester, I will be studying abroad in Hyderabad and attending the University of Hyderabad. In order to stay organized with my thoughts, feelings, and experiences, I have created this blog so that it will force me to document and memorialize my adventures. Whether those adventures include the places I travel to, the people I meet, the classes I take, or experiences I haven’t even fathomed yet! I’m so excited to live in India for these next 5 months and explore my cultural and spiritual roots. I have always wanted to visit India but never had the opportunity to do so until now. I’m super nervous to be in a new place for so long without my loved ones but I know it will be good for me to learn and grow from the independence. I know this experience will be over in the blink of an eye and I want to be able to look back and remember all the amazing things that come with studying abroad.
