Rachel B.
"Yeah, I think I might be going to Chile next year for a semester," I remember telling some of my close friends and family. Now, here I am, in a different country with a different language studying abroad for five months. My name is Rachel Burns and I am a 16 year old from Maine. I love traveling, sewing, baking, spending time with friends, and Spanish! Why would I leave the comfort of my home for five whole months? Many people asked me this. And at the time, I wasn't sure I had a proper answer. To improve my Spanish? To experience something new? For the adventure of a lifetime? Now that I'm here I can confidently say it's all of that and more. This is my blog outlining some of the highlights from this trip. Enjoy!
