Joanna Shaw

Jo has lived in Melbourne since she was a child and loves everything about this dynamic and cool city. She has a Masters of International Relations from La Trobe University and a bachelor’s degree with honors from the University of Melbourne. Jo began her career working for the Dalai Lama in northern India and has lived and worked in more than nine countries in Asia with the UN and NGOs. Jo is passionate about community, human rights, social justice, and travel. When she’s not proudly working for CIEE, Jo is enjoying all that Melbourne has to offer including live shows, musicals, theatre and festivals. Jo can also be found down at one of Melbourne’s dog beaches with her dopey labradors Frankie and Spud.
