Najeh Abu Orabi

Najeh Abu Orabi, Ph.D., a native of Jordan, has been challenging American students to master the Arabic language for more than a decade. In addition to leading the Arabic Language program, Najeh manages the Arabic language curriculum for CIEE in Jordan. He has a doctorate in Arabic language curricula and education methods and a master’s degree in Arabic language. Najeh also has taught Arabic at the University of Virginia and is a certified ACTFL OPI tester. For the Arabic Language program, Najeh works with a special team of instructors, all of whom hold advanced degrees in Arabic language and literature, have extensive experience teaching Arabic as a foreign language to international students, and are trained in ACTFL standards.
