Carla Fronteddu

Carla received her Ph.D. in Philosophy, History, and Theory of Legal and Political Systems from the University of Salerno in 2014, with a dissertation on women's subjectivation strategies within a neoliberal framework. While still an undergraduate, she developed a strong interest in issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion, which led her to pursue a Master's degree in Gender Equality and Diversity Management at the Fondazione Brodolini in Rome.

Prior to joining CIEE, Carla spent ten years working in American study abroad programs and universities in Florence, first as a faculty member and later as Assistant Academic Director, pursuing her commitment to inclusive and engaging education.

She is the co-founder of the Feminist Library - Fiesolana2b, a feminist organization based in Florence, of which she is the former president and current vice-president.
