Francisco Diez

Francisco Diez is the Regional Director of Operations for Europe including Amsterdam, Berlin, Copenhagen, Florence, Milan, Tallinn, and Prague. He holds a B.A in English Studies from the Universidad de Alicante (Alicante, Spain), a M.A in Spanish Studies and Linguistics from Michigan State University (Lansing, MI), and the Management Development Program at Harvard Graduate School of Education. 

Francisco has an extensive teaching experience in higher education having taught Spanish Language courses in the College of Arts and Letters at Michigan State University, Classroom Teaching and Learning Methodologies in the Department of Innovation and Teaching Methods (School of Education) at the Universidad de Alicante, and diverse CIEE area content courses in inter disciplinary fields such as Hispanic Studies and Intercultural Communication. Francisco has participated in multiple research projects, he has published several articles in the field of language acquisition as well as in Gender Issues in Study Abroad. 

He has attended and presented in numerous national and international conferences in the field of International Education, and has been very actively involved in the design and implementation of new programmatic lines at CIEE (IFDS, FAC, HSSA, Internship, short-term programs, etc). He speaks Spanish, English and Catalan.
