Laura A. Brege, MBA

Laura Brege is a Senior Advisor to BridgeBio, a company focused on discovering and developing drugs for patients with grievous genetic diseases.  Previously she was Managing Director of Cervantes Life Science Partners, LLC, a health care advisory and consulting company.

Laura has more than 30 years of executive-management experience in the technology, biotechnology, and venture-capital industries, having previously held several senior-level positions at Onyx Pharmaceuticals, Inc., and serving as a general partner at Red Rock Capital Management, a venture-capital firm specializing in early stage financing for technology companies. In addition, she has served as chief financial officer (CFO) at COR Therapeutics, helping to build the company from an early stage research and development company; as CFO at Flextronics, Inc.; and as treasurer of The Cooper Companies.

Laura serves on the board of directors of Acadia Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Aratana Therapeutics, Inc., Dynavax Technologies Corporation, Pacira Pharmaceuticals, Inc., and Portola Pharmaceuticals, Inc. She also serves as National Trustee on the Board of Trustees of Ohio University.
