Historically, study abroad leverages place-based learning to allow students to embrace another language, culture, and people. Today’s students seek study abroad opportunities that allow them to immerse themselves in our world’s diverse natural landscapes and growing number of smart cities. CIEE hopes to meet that student demand as we help care for our planet by equipping the next generation of leaders with the skills and inspiration to find solutions to the challenges facing ecosystems around the world.
