CIEE is pleased to announce reduced pricing on all study abroad programs in Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico.
CIEE was founded in 1947 to help bring the world together after nearly a half-century of international conflict. Our first high-quality, affordable study abroad programs introduced young Americans to young Germans, Italians, Japanese, and others, advancing peace in our world by building bridges of mutual understanding through people-to-people exchanges.

- Enjoy the exquisite cuisine of the Yucatán, Peninsula
- Gain hands-on experience through internships at world-class resorts and tourism establishments, architecture and design firms, and other excellent host companies
- Discover the rich history of Mayan dynastic kings, often considered divine figures
- Study Mayan art, architecture, astrology, mathematics, and writing
- Explore pyramids, swim underground cenotes, stroll beautiful beaches, and relax in cafes on idyllic multi-colored colonial streets
