1. Website Management:
- Receive orders from the Website
- Print orders and FedEx labels
- Understand US map and weather systems
- Transfer the invoices to our packing team or coordinate with our delivery service
- Make sure every order is delivered on time to the right place
- Filter orders for errors/inconsistencies
- Answer office telephone
- Take orders over the phone when needed
- Manage customer service for order changes, problems
- Order office supplies
2. Inventory Management:
- Tally the number of trays sold every afternoon
- Fill up the inventory sheet
- Compare office count to bakery count on Fridays, trace mistakes
3. Update the Website:
- Create and update seasonal flavors photos on the website, remove unavailable flavors
- Create and update the banners on the website according to upcoming holiday/events
- Make changes when necessary to text, products, and flavors
4. Marketing and communication
- Create and send newsletter for retail and wholesale clients announcing new flavors available,
promotional offers, and other news
- Print posters and flavor lists for wholesale clients
- Manage the stock of fake macarons including ordering shells from the bakery
- Make the fake macarons for wholesale clients
5. Manage MacarOn Café’s social media presence on Facebook and Instagram
- Post regularly with photos, videos, boomerangs, etc
- Ensure all analytical tools and calculations are active and up to date
- Analyze the website traffic and take the necessary actions
6. Manage MacarOn Café’s Marketing Campaigns
- Work with Managers to determine marketing strategies and define budgets
- Execute Promotional campaigns in the form of contests (i.e. win a box of macarons)
- Prepare banners for the home page of the website using Photoshop or other software to promote upcoming holidays/events (Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, etc)
Compensation: Stipend $1500 per month. Paid on a biweekly basis. Paid lunch (lunch reimbursement for $9/per day). The company will also offer a free unlimited metro card for transportation.
Required: Currently enrolled (or graduated within 1 year) in a Master’s program in marketing, communications, or related degree.
