Community service

I had been ambivalent a little before I came to the US about the community service. I didn’t know where I could volunteer even after 2 months into the program. 

Fortunately, I remembered that I have been volunteering in an animal shelter in my home city.

I enjoyed walking the dogs, because I’ve always wanted to have one.  So I searched and found a shelter close to where I lived. Everybody there was nice and explained to me how things work. I usually walk and play with dogs, clean cat rooms, wash bowls and do the laundry. I also met new people who became my friends. Now I’m looking forward to my next hours there!
