So what exactly can vegetarians eat in Asia? More than you think.

Asia is a kaleidoscope of flavors. From Vietnamese bánh mì to Chinese dim sum, the scents spill out from every crevice of the ancient streets. Street vendors prepare fried delights and restaurants impeccably craft the time-honored recipes, as travelers are presented a foodie haven. Vegetarians, on the other hand, are left with a dilemma. You want to try to it all. You want to immerse yourself in the local flavors—to be as carefree as your carnivorous counterparts. Yet, you're apprehensive, left in a constant state of struggle between your vegetarian morals and your desire to taste authentic delicacies. So what do you do when you're teaching English in Asia? Do you stick to your vegetarian comfort zone, eating only your familiar western bites and missing out on the famed cuisines? No, you do not have to give up your vegetarian ways in order to eat incredible local delights. You can be vegetarian in Asia. This guide will show you how.
