Jewelry Design in Milan

Coils of gold, silver, and copper wire glint in the light, while lengths of chains are neatly arranged beside tiny drawers brimming with beads and semi-precious stones. Around the room, delicate hand tools sit next to cordless power drills and presses, surrounded by the many works-in-progress of IED’s talented jewelry students. The atmosphere is alive with creativity, and today, you’ll be part of it, guided by a professor from the Jewelry Design program at Milan’s premier art college, IED.

This hands-on experience begins with an introduction to materials, tools, and techniques before you put your skills to the test. Sketch your vision, refine your design, and use semi-precious materials to create your very own piece of jewelry. Working alongside your friends, you share tips, laugh over challenges, and celebrate each other’s unique creations.

This experience isn’t just about crafting jewelry—it’s about transforming how you approach design and innovation. By connecting theory to practice, you’ll leave Milan with refined skills, a one-of-a-kind piece for your portfolio, and inspiration for your future in fashion design.

Fragonard Perfume Museum in Paris

The air is alive with many compelling and complex scents inside the elegant Fragonard Perfume Museum, nestled in the heart of Paris. Since 1926, Maison Fragonard has perfected the art of creating luxurious perfumes that capture elegance and individuality, crafting their creations in Grasse, the perfume capital of the French Riviera. Fragrances are inseparable from fashion; every couture line seeks a signature scent, and the two worlds are deeply intertwined.

Your visit begins with a guided tour through the perfume design and manufacturing process, offering a rare glimpse into the world of haute couture fragrance. As you explore, you and your friends compare favorites—each of you drawn to different notes, from floral to woody, realizing how personal and complex this art form truly is. Along the way, you awaken your senses with the olfactive pyramid, learning to identify citrus, oriental, and sweet notes.

This unforgettable day deepens your understanding of the symbiosis between fragrance and fashion. Inspired by Fragonard’s legacy of creativity and business acumen, you leave with a greater appreciation for luxury design—and new insights to carry into your future studies and career in fashion.
