Weekend Getaway - 22 July 2023

Though rainy, Bath was beautiful. Upon our arrival, we were able to drop our overnight bags off at the YMCA Bath Hostel where we stayed before getting a few hours to explore the city on our own. After some wonderful free time, we had dinner at a pizza place. The next morning, we enjoyed a nice breakfast at YMCA before heading off on the road again to Lacock. At Lacock, we explored and toured the wonderful Lacock Abbey. Then off we went to explore the tiny town and grab a bite to eat. It was raining on and off but luckily there were many good places to eat and stay dry. We headed back to London, tired and satisfied with our weekend getaway.
