Visit with the Llamas
At the llama "ranch" the students were able to learn about how their wool is dyed (and how the dyes are made) as well as how to determine real wool from the acrylic blends.
The students really enjoyed being able to feed and pet the llamas and alpacas...
Here is a picture of the students at the "mirador" (overlook) with the Sacred Valley in the background....
So far everyone is doing well...we are a bit tired because of the Festival of the Virgen de Carmen...but the students have been great!
