Vatican Museums
Today we went to the Vatican Museums and it was great.
First, we visited the Pinacoteca, which is made of eighteen rooms where artists are displayed chronologically from the 12th century to the 19th century. Here we had the possibility to admire painters such as Raphael and Caravaggio. Then we went through the Gregorian Egyptian Museum, the Gregoriano Profano Museum and the Christian Museum.
We visited many other interesting rooms on our way to the Sistine Chapel. There it is forbidden to take pictures and silence is required since it is a sacred place. The students were totally in awe. On our way back we also visited Raphael's Rooms.
Students felt grateful at the end of our tour and also had the opportunity to buy souvenirs for their parents and grandparents.
