Thoughts from Leon Chou
If there's one thing I did not anticipate about this experience, it would be its similarity to a mental marathon. Never have I felt more exhausted, having to constantly translate what I hear into English, and then to translate my response from English back to Spanish. But it has been incredibly fruitful, and more and more I can understand what everyone is saying and respond appropriately. Also, the social atmosphere is so relaxed. People in the US could learn a thing or two from the DR about not stressing out.
