Subway Savvy
Learning to navigate the Metro is often a daunting experience for those who have never ridden the subway! Milan has not only a subway, but a tram service, a train service, and a bus system. Trying to figure out which line, train, or station will get you to your destination can be overwhelming! Program Leaders and CIEE staff introduced students to this aspect of their Language & Culture course by navigating them to the Duomo and then again to the Castello Sforza. Students take public transportation to/from school daily and must feel confident doing so! After a few days....the confidence is there!
