Students seek luck at Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II
Last week, our students embarked on an exciting visit to the iconic Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan. This stunning structure, crafted with an intricate iron and glass framework, serves as a covered pedestrian street and a luxurious shopping arcade. During their tour, a guide revealed the fascinating symbols embedded in the floor and shared the captivating legend of the bull. In the gallery’s floor lies a mosaic depicting the emblem of Turin, the birthplace of Vittorio Emanuele II. At the heart of this emblem is a bull, and according to local tradition, stepping on the bull's intimate parts brings good luck. Naturally, our students couldn't resist trying their luck and enthusiastically took turns stepping on the lucky bull, hoping to capture some of its fortune!
