Statues and Architecture in Korea: A Photo Report
From the 2 weeks that I've been staying in South Korea, I have come to admire the beautiful artistic pieces that we have come across. Here are some examples:
This piece, near MBC World, shows two entities that are reaching out to each other through a barrier. The statues are in the style of cubism. The two entities are entirely composed of geometric shapes.
This statue, near MBC World, includes the 3 primary colors. The three strands curl off the stand intertwining along the way.

This chair, from Dongdaemun Design Plaza, is an example of the influence of expressionism and art nouveau architecture. Art nouveau which began in the 19th century suggested moving away from industrialized furniture and towards unique, creative furniture.
The staircase in Dongdaemun Design Plaza is similar to the spiral staircase in the Guggenheim Museum. The design is futuristic with white as the main color.

This structure is a spiral resembling a unicorn horn or soft serve ice cream.
The roof structure resembles a funnel or a tunnel. The trusses on the structure below it have rounded triangles.
