Montjuïc
This week students have been getting to know the city of Barcelona: their neighborhoods, the metro, and the various neighborhoods that comprise downtown Barcelona. On Thursday we went on a walking tour of Montjuïc from Plaza España to the Palau Nacional and the Olympic Stadium. Montjuïc was the site for both the 1929 Barcelona International Exposition and the 1992 Summer Olympics. This weekend, students have free time to explore Barcelona and the surrounding area with their host families. I am excited to hear on Monday what they'll have to share!
