Let the Adventures Begin!
Hello everybody!!
Welcome to Session Two's first blog! The Global Navigators made it safely to Gaborone, Botswana this afternoon, which will be their home for the next three weeks. It sounds like there were a couple of hiccups along that way, but nothing our resilient Navigators couldn't handle.
We are staying at Mokolodi Nature Reserve for the majority of our stay in beautiful Botswana. To introduce the Navigators to the Reserve, they were taken on their first (of many) game drive! A mama rhino and her baby graced us with their presence after the first hour! Some people come to Mokolodi several times before they don’t see a rhino at all, so it was amazing to see two our first day! We also saw giraffes, ostriches, baboons, and impala.
The Navigators are settling in for their first night. Many were fast friends out of the gate, which is incredible to see. We can't wait to see the Navigators development more friendships, learn more about animal conservation, and of course, see more wildlife!
