Le Petit Palais
During our morning classes today we presented our projects we've been working on during the week. This continued our practice with oral speaking in the French language. After class we broke for lunch and began our afternoon exursion. Today we visted the 8th arrondissment and saw the Petit Palais. Although it has petit in its name, the Petit Palais was far from small. There were two floors and many different art forms from all eras. It was fun to learn all about French history and I saw a lot of art pieces I'd never seen before. Art pieces like the Mona Lisa are well known, so it was nice to see authentic art I'd never heard of before. The excursion was refreshing and now I can say I've been to the Petit Palais!
