I went to the National Museum of Modern Art
If you're ever bored in Paris, France (which is definently hard to do, who would be bored in Paris?) I have just the thing for you. If you're into art and want to see works from current people in France then this is also for you!
On Saturday we didn't have classes so I went to the Musée national d'Art moderne. I'm not a huge fan of modern art, but I still had a blast walking around and using the outdoor escalators! The museum has balconies where you can look out and see the Eiffel Tower as well as the Sacré Couer. The view was absolutely amazing! Here's a photo I took there:
I believe there are five floors, two of them being of just art. On the first floor I found a photo booth (which I was very excited for, there are usually photo booths in art museums here) but there is also multiple shops where you can find various art materials. The collection of art is the second biggest in the world, only being beaten by the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Something new I learned from one of my friends is that they rotate the art (every two years I believe) so I'll be able to visit again and have a whole new experience! If you want more information on the museum check out it's offical governed website at the Ministrère de la Culture. If you want to learn more about places in France to visit, or just want to follow my journey, visit my blog page.
