GETAWAY TO FLORENCE
Our high school summer abroad global discovery students have arrived in Firenze!
Students have traveled with a high speed train that took us to the city in less than 2 hours.
Group A and B had the opportunity to visit the Galileo Museum with an exceptional guide that explained and made them try some of the inventions, and also the stunning Galleria degli Uffizi, where the kids did a scavenger hunt: they had to find details of flowers and monsters in the paintings.
After a bit of free time to shop in the city's streets, at night, a nice stroll in the city and of course...gelato!
We spent just one night in the homeland of Renaissance and then we got back to Roma, but it was definitely an unforgettable experience.
