Gelato!
Italy is famous for many things... not least of all the wonderful food!
While pasta and pizza have definitely captured our hearts, our stomachs are always craving something sweet, and what better way is there to cool down in the heat than with a delicious Italian gelato?!
Let's find out some of our students' favourite gusti (flavours)
Layla: "Lemon… also the tiramisu gelato is nice but always LEMON!"
Lisa: "I guess my go-to is strawberry!"
Molly: "I like coffee… so much!"
Caitlin: "My favourite flavour is dark chocolate… buonissimo! Also I’m a cone girly!"
Jayden: "What was it? Nutella! It was so good!"
Ava J: "if it's lactose free then chocolate!"
Amelia: "Hazelnut!"
Lily: "Hazelnut from Fragola because it’s creamier"
Ella D: "I liked the caramel!"
Quinn: "Umm…. I really love chocolate!"
Isaiah: "Uhhhh... [thinking carefully] chocolate and hazelnut!"
Kieran: "Chocolate or caramel"
Ivan: "Strawberry"
Kendall: "Stracciatella"
Miranda: "What’s my favourite gelato flavour? I like a classic chocolate or like a dark chocolate."
Theo: "Lemon"
Jenna: "I’ll just go with chocolate"
Kennedy: "I’ve only had a few but coffee was really good"
Ivy: "We all got raspberry and it was really good…"
Sam: "I ordered in Italian… 'Vorrei una piccola coppetta di lampone' "
Rowan: "My favourite gelato is limone with fragola a close second."
Daniel: "I’ve only tried one which was Nutella. Next time I’m going to try fragola (strawberry)"
Katie H: "I picked the fruity ones and the limone one (lemon) was really refreshing!"
So what else to say but morning, noon or night- gelato is always a good idea!!
