First weekend in Pisac - Student participants adopt a baby goat and named him...Pablo!
Students adopted a baby goat this past weekend. One of the host families was planning to buy a baby goat, so the kids offered to buy one for them. They will take care of it during the program; and, they will then give it to the host family to keep. About five students contributed to come up with the baby goat's cost of 100 soles (about $33 dollars). A few more students have now joined in as owners too, by paying a percentage to the original buyers. A great way to learn about the stock market.
