Field Trip: Gaborone Dam
Friday our team took a field trip to the Gaborone Dam. Botswana is a semi-arid climate, and water is a precious resource throughout! At the dam we learned about the treatment process to move the water into clean drinking status. Afterward, we trekked to the top of the dam to view the expanse of water and find a great view of the city. For lunch we went to Main Mall, and included time for souvenir shopping. We finished off the day with a Setswana lesson.
