Exploring Madrid Through the Arts Student Post by Victoria Sawak-Rai
Entering my third week into the program, it is an understatement when I say this experience has exceeded my expectations. The days at first felt like they were going by in slow motion, but now time goes by rapidly. Early mornings and late nights are a normalcy here. We commute to morning classes, indulge in new experiences, return back to our residence for lunch and repeat in the afternoon. The insightful classes are engaging but also relaxed. My new peers and I bonded quickly and make the most out of every experience. Residing in a new country and learning new things has been a smooth transition because of the relationships I've built here in my time abroad. My final week is upon me and I am cherishing every second of it before I return home.
