Edo Tokyo Museum
We spent an afternoon at the Edo Tokyo Museum in Ryogoku. Students enjoyed learning about the history of Japan during the Edo Period (1603-1868). Edo was the name of present day Tokyo until 1868. The museum had exhibits covering the period after Edo and the development of Tokyo up to present day. There were a few interactive areas, dioramas and beautiful scenes. Definitely a place to check out again one day. We couldn't see it all in just one visit.
