Day trip to Monza
Ciao a tutti!
On Saturday, students took a day trip to Monza--a city just outside Milano.
Monza which is known for its Formula One racetrack, which is also in the huge Parco di Monza. The track was built in 1922 and Italians call it La pista magica.
Not only is Monza known for the Formula One racetrack but also many landmarks. It is here that once we arrived, students toured many famous sites such as il duomo di Monza, L'Arengario, Ponte dei Leoni. Students took many pictures and after had some free time to explore what the city of Monza had to offer. Students even got to witness an Italian wedding at il Duomo di Monza!
Afterwards, we walked over to the park, where we all sat down and enjoyed a nice picnic before heading home for the weekend with the homestays.
A presto!
