Danza Rapa Nui
On Thursday students learned about the Rapa Nui dance which is native to The Easter Islands. More than a dance, it is a brief song that accompanies a game of the same name. Through the use of a thread or cord, in various shapes, they tell stories of legends and traditions. The students had a lot of fun learning about the history, creating a specific shape with the cords and learning a few dances.
