Global Entrepreneurship

Students attended their second day of entrepreneurship class with Harvard Business School graduate Stephen Murray in the morning. After a short lunch on campus, they took the subway and traveled to a start-up incubator for a site visit.

Upon arrival, they were given a unique glimpse into the creative process. One room, akin to a video lab, buzzed with visual experimentation. Another functioned as a versatile space for idea development, fostering collaboration and brainstorming. In a particularly intriguing space, students witnessed the development of "smart shelves" – a glimpse into the future of retail technology.

The day's highlight arrived in the form of a delightful presentation by a resident startup. This innovative company offered a solution that would marry the power of artificial intelligence with the artistry of human touch. Their concept: AI-generated artwork, customizable in the style of renowned artists, then painstakingly brought to life by skilled painters using traditional oil on canvas.

The afternoon concluded on a lighter note, with students from diverse disciplines gathering to cheer on their favorite teams in the World Cup finals, a global sporting event that just so happened to be taking place right here in Berlin. This unexpected cultural immersion served as a fitting capstone to a day that underscored the international spirit of innovation and the boundless potential that lies at the heart of learning.
