Randeep joined the AIC team in 2018. A California native, Randeep received a B.A. in History with a minor in Education from the University of California, Davis and a M.S. in Counseling with a focus in College and Career Counseling from San Francisco State University. She initially began her tenure in higher education counseling high school and community college students on transitioning to four-year institutions and conducting general career counseling. During her time at UC Berkeley, she herself transitioned to the world of international education by helping to develop and grow the Global Internships program which gave students the opportunity to partake in a domestic or international summer internship. Her role included program administration and development, partner relations, and student recruitment, advising, application, and preparation.
During her professional career, Randeep has been committed to providing access to higher education and bringing awareness to and helping remove some of the barriers faced by underrepresented populations. She has participated on various committees such as UC Berkeley’s Committee for Undergraduate Education Equity, Inclusion and Diversity Implementation; Committee for Underrepresented Students; and Asian Pacific American Systemwide Alliance. She hopes to continue to raise awareness and provide access through her work with AIC.
