Hola! My name is Madelyn Madiedo and I am one of the high school students participating in CIEE this summer in the Dominican Republic. This is my first ever time traveling out of the country and studying abroad. I am so excited to get to learn more about the culture, practice my spanish, and step out of my comfort zone while exploring a new country. I can't wait to see what this next 3 weeks has in store for me and I hope you follow me along my amazing summer trip in Santiago, Dominican Republic.
