hello everyone! welcome to my blog! :) my name is jordann. i am a current (as of fall 2024) junior at smith college majoring in english language & literature (creative writing emphasis) with a prospective minor in either korean language & culture or east asian studies. i've wanted to study abroad in general for a while now, but in south korea specifically for at least three (3) years. the fact that i am currently here, in south korea, right now, is insane to me! i have a lot of fun blog posts planned for this semester (you'll be seeing a lot from me :P) that i hope you stay tuned for! but before we get to the blog posts, let me tell you a little bit about me! i have some fun facts below so you can get to know me better :)
- first (and most importantly, of course), i have a cat! (she is the same cat in my profile picture :3) her name is blu! she is a dilute torbie shorthair calico and the absolute love of my life <3
- i am 21 years old
- i am from wisconsin, usa (specifically, mke!)
- i love astrology and astronomy! (my big three are gemini sun, aquarius moon, and cancer rising)
- my mbti is enfp-t and my life path number is 1! (can you tell i like taking these quizzes lol)
- i'm pretty sure my enneagram type is three (3)
- i've never been outside of the united states before (south korea is my first time out of the us!)
- i am a vegetarian! (i'll definitely be making some posts about veg-option, vegetarian, and vegan eats here in south korea, so stay tuned!)
- smith college (my current university) is not actually not my first college! i originally went to the university of wisconsin-madison before i transferred out to smith. so i have had experience at both a very large public university (50,000+ students) and very small private liberal arts college (~2,600 students)
- i took one (1) year of korean before coming here to study abroad
