Hi Everyone.
My name is Debi Bochmann. I am a Credit Recovery Teacher at Olathe High School, Montrose County School District.
I was born and raised in Craig, Colorado, and lived on the Western side of the mountains for most of my life. I have moved around a lot over the years for work, including a three-year stint at Ft. Bragg, NC working for the Department of Defense Schools as an Educational Technologist. Most of my teaching experience has been teaching technology but I do have 3 years teaching regular classroom.
I enjoy dancing, hiking, dinner theatre, traveling, and music. I am a musician and artist so enjoy the arts very much. I have 4 grown sons and come from a large family.
I earned my Bachelor's Degree from Mesa State College in Grand Junction Colorado. I started that degree as a single mom at age 33. Later I earned my Master's of Education: Educational Technology from Lesley University. I loved learning online and have since taken many classes using that method.
Currently, I am a Local Coordinator for CIEE for the student exchange program. I have enjoyed very much meeting students from other countries and am looking forward to leading the AQUATIC ECOSYSTEMS & SUSTAINABILITY PROGRAM in PORTUGAL, LISBON this summer. The opportunity to travel; meet new people; and learn about another culture; are all very exciting for me.
