Born and raised in Moscow, Russia, I am now living in Columbus, Ohio, and getting my PhD at the Ohio State University. In 2017 I recieved the Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant grant and started teaching Russian as a second language at the university in Kentucky for the first time. It was a truly amazing experince that pushed me outside of my comfort zone in understanding the culture and the people. I am beyond excited to be a Program Leader and spend time in Moscow with American students and see my home city through their eyes.
