Adele Colwell
Adele's Program
Adele graduated from UC Santa Cruz in June 2021 with a degree in Biology. She is passionate about using science for sustainability and conservation. During her time at UC Santa Cruz, Adele worked for a lab researching sustainable aquaculture feeds and helped generate an outline for an insurance portal for coral reef restoration. This past year she has worked as a Naturalist at an outdoor education program and plans on attending UC Santa Barbara this fall for her Masters's in Environmental Science and Management. Adele is a CIEE alumnus and attended the conservation, sustainability, and biodiversity study abroad program in Monteverde when she was a junior in high school. When Adele isn't working, you can find her surfing, hiking, SCUBA diving, playing the uke, and spending time with friends.
