CIEE Security Alert - Australia

Police were called to the scene following a stabbing on Saturday April 13th at Bondi Junction shopping mall in Sydney, New South Wales State. Police have confirmed the attacker who stabbed and killed five people and wounded several more, has also died on site.

CIEE has confirmed the safety and whereabouts of all participants. At this time, we have no reports that any CIEE Sydney participants have been impacted by this incident. Participants have been reminded to say clear of the surrounding area. CIEE will continue to monitor the situation closely and remain in contact with our participants to ensure their ongoing safety.
