Program Evaluations

Program evaluations are one of the many reasons why CIEE Professional Exchange Programs are so successful at delivering valuable professional development and cultural exchange opportunities. Evaluations also serve as way for both CIEE and the U.S. Department of State to ensure that J-1 exchange programs meet the needs of participants.

Please note: Program evaluations are required. Failure to complete these evaluations will result in the termination of your program.

Completing Your Evaluations

CIEE will email you with links and instructions for completing evaluations. Each evaluation is comprised of two separate online questionnaires: one to be completed by you; the other to be completed by your host organization supervisor. This provides two independent points of view that can be used to assess the success of your program and to improve the quality of all CIEE programs.

IMPORTANT: Be sure to provide a valid email address when registering for the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS).

CIEE welcomes direct communications from participants and host organizations at any point throughout their program. We want to know what is working well for you, what could be improved, and how we can be better at delivering the cultural exchange opportunities and support you expect from us.
