¿Cómo se llama?
Do you know the difference between a llama and an alpaca? If not, no worries; the CIEE Global Navigator high school students can tell you all about it! Yesterday, we piled in three vans and took a trip to the Awana Kancha farm. Students had a blast learning about the differences in species of llamas/alpacas and the materials used during the color dyeing process. Before hitting the gift shop where students were able to purchase authentic alpaca products, the real treat was the opportunity to feed the llamas and alpacas! They were content to take photos with students as all 23 students fed them their alfalfa snack.
