We had fun on our weekend excursion! Our first stop was kayaking. We had loads of fun going down the river while singing songs like “Bohemian Rhapsody.” (Nice voice, Taron). Along the way, we spotted a castle, which required a stop for pictures! We ended kayaking with a European barbeque and boarded the bus to the Caves of Han. It was very cool seeing the stalagmites and the underground river! Then we headed to dinner and the hostel.
We started the day with an early morning breakfast before hopping on the bus to go to Bastogne for tour about WWII and the Battle of the Bulge. After lunch, we went to the Luxembourg American Cemetery and Memorial. It was both interesting and solemn. At the end of the tour, we got on the bus to head back to Brussels where we had dinner at our favorite place, Le Temps Danse.
