You know that globalization demands that more and more companies learn to do business worldwide to grow and prosper. But did you know that you can study abroad and earn credit toward your business major? CIEE offers programs in 19 countries during the summer and academic year that make the world your business with classes in economics, management, marketing, and finance.

If you want to learn first-hand how international business works, you have a wide range of options. Choose a CIEE business program, with its full curriculum of business-related courses, design your own academic experience by enrolling directly in courses you choose at your host university, or take just one business class. On most programs, you’ll take courses in English through the business or economics department of the overseas university you attend and build cultural understanding both inside and outside the classroom. If you have advanced language skills, hone them further with business courses taught in the local language; language classes intended to tune up your business vocabulary are available at every level.

Combine that coursework with guided visits to local and multinational companies and maybe an internship and you’ll come away with valuable experiences—both for yourself and for your future employers.

learn what you want, what you need
Study business, economics, finance, marketing, and management abroad—and in English—on any of these programs worldwide. If you have advanced language skills, some programs let you choose courses taught in the local language as well. For-credit internships are available on the programs indicated. See our Internships Abroad webpage for more details.
