Jennifer Higgins Pitre

Jennifer Higgins Pitre joined CIEE as Vice President of Philanthropy in 2023. She is responsible for shaping and leading CIEE’s first ever fundraising department. Jenn has over 25 years of leadership experience raising funds for non-profit organizations in higher education, social services, and health care.

Jenn brings to CIEE a rich set of leadership skills and experience raising funds for nonprofits with compelling missions, including Catholic Medical Center, Granite United Way, and the University of New Hampshire Foundation. In addition to her deep fundraising experience, Jenn has taught courses at the University of New Hampshire on business, marketing, entrepreneurship, and corporate social responsibility, and she served as a mentor to graduate students learning how to create compelling major gift proposals.

Jenn earned her MBA and bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of New Hampshire and is a Certified Fund Raising Executive. Jenn lives in New Hampshire with her husband Jeff, their three children, and their beloved British Shorthair cat.
