Biography

  • After participating in a CIEE Work Exchanges program, Stacy began her career at CIEE in 1994. She rejoined the organization in 2017, to lead a team supporting Minority Serving Institutions, and manage the Frederick Douglass Global Fellowship, before transitioning to her current role as Director of Professional Development.  

    In between those posts, Stacy worked in television production as a co-host of a talk show in Scotland, and an Associate Producer for the BBC, Bravo, MTV, and PBS. She returned to the field of international education over a decade ago, with roles at IES Abroad, CAPA the Global Education Network, and AFS.

    Stacy holds an M.A. from the Annenberg School of Communication at the University of Pennsylvania, and a B.A. from Brown University. She’s delivered sessions at the CIEE, Diversity Abroad, IES Abroad, NAFSA and WISE conferences, and her work has been published in The Journal of Negro Education and What You Think You Know About Politics.
